Entrance Exam
The NTA will oversee the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN starting in 2019. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) oversaw this examination till 2021.
JEE Main is helpful for getting into NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs that are interested, but Central Seat Allocation Board requires that the applicant have at least 80% stamps in the twelfth grade assessment or rank in the top 10% of the class in the assessment administered by each Board. The passing score for SC/ST applicants on the 12th class assessment will be 70%.
